Permission

All images in this exhibit come from books housed in the Kohler Art Library, University of Wisconsin-Madison. As owners of the physical objects and digital surrogates, we ask that you request permission before using any of these images in Web pages or other electronic or print publications. Permission may also need to be granted by the artist. Please include the following information in your request:

• Image you wish to reproduce
• Author/editor of your Web page, book, article, dissertation, or other product in which you would like to include our image
• Title of your Web page, book, article, dissertation, or other product
• If an article, title of journal or book in which it will appear
• Approximate length of book or article
• No. of copies of book
• Publisher or Web site owner
• Estimated publication date

Any permission granted will specify a credit line and URL that must be included in the Web site, publication, or other product. We will also make clear the terms of permission granted (one use only, etc.)
